Tavistock Pannier Maket has been celebrating this week. Two of the five day traders, Sarah and Jeannie at the Tavi Witches Emporium, and Sarah and Matt Curtin of MJC photography have reached their one year anniversary trading in the famous and popular Tavistock Pannier Market which is a must see for visitors to Tavistock and the surrounding area.
This happy occasion was celebrated with customers traders and friends alike, aided by glasses of champagne and high spirits!
The Tavi Witches Emporium has grown over the year and can offer its customers many wonderful and varied items, some of which are one off creations. Many of these items are made by the witches themselves! Beautiful glasses, lanterns and tealight holders designed and painted by Jeannie and lovely wands fashioned by Sarah, many of them made from wood collected from the moor. Other offerings include music by local artists, puppets, musical instruments, witches brooms, hats, cloaks and so much more. Truly something for everyone! Follow them on Facebook.
MJC Photography offers a large selection of beautiful photos created by the talented Matt. His passion and enthusiasm for his work, shows the feelings of myth and magic so prevalent in this part of the country. He also captures the mood of local places and haunts, many of which depict the history and beauty of the area. His right hand, Sarah is always on hand to answer your questions and explain the details of these beautiful pictures. These wonderful images make the perfect gift for yourself or that special someone and will grace any wall! All photos are sold matted, but Sarah is very happy to frame your selection while you wait. Duane Caruthers, Tavistock Pannier Market Reeve commented, " The last few years have been difficult trading times, so it is nice to celebrate success stories. Both Sarah and Jeannie of The Tavi Witches Emporium and Matt and Sarah Curtin of MJC Photography have been a welcome addition to the Pannier Market. Both stalls have worked tirelessly to support and promote the market as part of our events team. I wish them every success for the future and congratulations to them on their one year anniversary as part of the market team."
