An internationally renowned sales and marketing business, Broadley Speaking, based in Tavistock, has changed ownership.

Founder Hilary Broadley and Director David Conn have handed the reins over to Brooke Pinkney, who has worked with them for 10 years.

Hilary Broadley started the company 27 years ago and has built a business that supports companies and corporations in the UK, EMEA and North America to achieve their revenue goals.

Hilary said: “A fundamental part of our success has been ‘growing our own’ - finding local talent and developing our team from within. Brooke is the strongest testament to this ethos paying dividends. Brooke, formerly a Tavistock College student, joined us as an apprentice; has completed 4 different sales and marketing diplomas and last year completed her MBA (with Distinction) at Exeter University. This, combined with a decade of experience, makes her a force to be reckoned with.”

David added: “We have always aimed to build opportunity for our team. Over her time so far, Brooke has also taken embedded roles in our client’s offices in London and Sydney, Australia. It has to be said Hilary is a tough act to follow, but Brooke has all the passion, attitude, knowledge and skills to continue to drive the business forward.”

New Managing Director Brooke commented: “It’s a hugely exciting time for me, the team and the business. Hilary and David won’t be too far away, and we are all committed to the continued success and development of the business. They have always given me a huge amount of support, encouragement, and mentoring and will continue to do so.
