A?CHURCH service and presentation?marked the end of the 45th Exon Singers' Festival which took place in Tavistock Parish Church last week.

Matthew Owens, conductor and artistic director of the Exon Singers, is pictured with his wife, soprano Ali Darragh, and the Rev Michael Brierley, priest-in-charge of Tavistock Parish. 

The festival, which included daily concerts, a live broadcast from Buckfast Abbey, and recordings for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 2, was the final appearance of Matthew Owens in Tavistock as director of the Exon Singers, following 15 very successful years.
