POLICE have launched an investigation after a 31-year-old female hunt saboteur was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with injuries following an alleged altercation between hunt members and saboteurs on farmland near Exbourne on Saturday afternoon, December 15.

The woman was later discharged from hospital. Footage filmed by saboteurs has been submitted to the police, who are calling for anyone with evidence to come forward.

‘Police have launched an investigation into this incident and are supporting the woman who was injured in North Devon,’ said a police spokesman.  

‘Anyone who was in the area and who may have information, including any footage that can aid the police investigation is asked to contact [email protected] quoting crime reference CR/115650/18.’
