POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery at knifepoint at the Post Office in Kelly Bray yesterday (Tuesday).
At around 4.40pm on Tuesday, January 31, a man entered the Post Office on Launceston Road.
The man was armed with a knife and threatened staff before being chased out of the premises. The man ran down the road before jumping into the passenger seat of a dark-coloured saloon car, which drove off down Redmoor Road.
The man was described as being white, wearing dark clothing, a hoody and a scarf which covered his face.
Police said a 52-year-old man and a 43-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and are currently in custody at Charles Cross Police Station in Plymouth.
