More than 100 people converged on Tavistock’s former magistrates courts in Victorian costume for the filming of independent period film The Ballad of Lucy Sands.
An appeal for extras for crowd and court room scenes was well responded to, resulting in the court room at the Tavistock Guildhall complex being full to capacity on Sunday, June 23.
A spokesperson for the film said: ‘The courts were heaving. Thanks to everyone who turned up and stretched their vocal chords to breaking capacity — you guys were nothing short of amazing!’
