BERE did not get out of second gear to beat a determined Delabole who held out until the last half-hour.

Bere carved Delabole apart at will but tried to walk the ball in instead of shooting and wasted chance after chance.

But they got it right in the second half, although Delabole?s keeper went full length to keep out a Mann free kick. Hodgson reacted fastest to turn home the loose ball.

Hann scored a stunning third, volleying home from the edge of the area. Vanstone fired the fourth, the ball dropping in space to blast home.

This Saturday division two, away to Polperro 2.30pm kick-off; division four east, away Dobwalls 2.30pm kick-off.
