TWO walks in the heartland of Stonehouse plus a tour of the extensive victualling yards, has been arranged by Calstock Footpath Society this Sunday, September 26.
Leaders Marina Dewing and Eric Willcock will take participants back into Plymouth's history in a setting of outstanding sea views and spectacular landscape. The walk will be supported by literature provided by the leaders and numbers will be limited. To take part contact 01822 833422 beforehand. It is expected the tour will take approximately three hours so walkers should bring a packed lunch and wear comfortable shoes.
Meet at 11am at the free public car park at Devil's Point reached via Union Street and Durnford Street. The walk is unsuitable for dogs. A donation of £2 is requested from non-members of the society.
