FOLLOWING their recent and highly successful The Magic Of Glenn Miller show, the Dave Hankin Big Band return with their brand new show Iconic TV Themes.

Dave invites you to experience the music that has introduced many a cult TV programme in recent and not so recent times. Come and hear unforgettable themes such as Grandstand, Mission Impossible, The Odd Couple and Thunderbirds.

This is an unmissable show for jazz and swing fans and all music lovers alike. Audiences of all ages will be thrilled by the sound of this amazing big band.

The Dave Hankin Big Band have been described in the press as ‘jaw-droppingly good’ and ‘exceptional...they could not be bettered’.

Band member Bernard Stewart said: ‘This will be our fourth year appearing at the Wharf and we have been lucky enough to have packed the venue. The first year we showcased Frank Sinatra’s Centennial year followed by The Magic Of Michael Buble and last year’s show earned  a standing ovation —The Magic Of Glenn Miller and so to our return this year (we also have a date nearer Christmas this year entitled Swing In To Christmas). The Miller show proved so successful I have had to book three more venues for this year.’

The players in this band they are all pro or semi-pro musicians with several former members of the Band Of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines.
