FOUR talented ladies who have only been performing together for a few months sang their way to victory in the Plymouth Music Festival recently.
Ros Waite, from Princetown, Jill Crabbe from Crapstone, Jacqueline Craddock and Lucy Smith from Plymouth, all sing with The Mayflower Chorus. They have also been rehearsing for several months as 'Blend', which was placed first in the Barbershop Quartet class.
Ros said: 'It's the first time any of us has won an award for singing, and we're thrilled.
'We love singing as a barbershop quartet because it combines great harmonies with the chance to act out the songs on stage. It's such fun.'
