Local police have announced this afternoon that the body of a man was located in the Okehampton area yesterday (Sunday 22 January).

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner for an inquest to take place.

Formal identification however is yet to take place.

The family of Graeme Stewart, 34, from Okehampton, who was also reported missing yesterday, have been informed.
