A BODY found in the River Tamar near Calstock last weekend has been identified as being that of a missing yachtsman from Slapton, Devon, police confirmed on Tuesday.

Keith Smith, aged 63, was reported missing on April 9, after he failed to return from a trip on his yacht. The boat had been moored on the River Tamar near Cargreen.

A member of the public found Mr Smith's body on Sunday evening.
