A BRAND new market will be coming to Okehampton this weekend and will run every Sunday throughout the summer.

The new Sunday market is a community project set up by Okehampton resident Rebecca Kitty Green.

The market, held in the Charter Hall, aims to bring together and will feature artisan crafters, food producers, local retail sellers as well as local alcohol producers, musicians and charities.

Starting this Sunday (June 11), the market will be open from 10am until 2pm every Sunday until August 20.

Rebecca said that by organising a regular market she hoped to make Okehampton a more vibrant place to be on Sundays throughout in the summer.
