MOUNT House 1st XV begin the 2004 season with six matches in the first half of term, the highlight of which will be Caldicott School?s Centenary Festival with schools invited from all over the UK and with special guest schools from South Africa.

The squad returned to school early for a three day training camp at the beginning of September and this after most of the squad had been on a three week tour of Australia in July and August.

The tour to Australia was a huge undertaking for a small school like Mount House, but with tremendous support both here in Tavistock and in Australia the boys and staff shared a never to be forgotten experience. To return to the UK with four wins was a wonderful achievement.

This term the school is running three sides at U13/U12 level, three at U11/U10 level and also sides at U9 and U8.

The 1st XV begins the term with two home fixtures against touring schools, Pinewood from Wiltshire and Sandroyd from Dorset.
