CAMERON Carpenter-Warren from Kelly College continued a successful open water swimming season by winning The Starcross Swim for a third consecutive year.

The two mile crossing from Starcross, down through the Exe Estuary and out along Exmouth seafront had a record entry of 28 swimmers this year, including several Channel swimmers.

Cameron,17, a member of Kelly College swim squad, won in a time of 32.03 minutes, ahead of ex Tavistock swimmer Olly White at 33.38 minutes.

Olly and Cameron both train in the sea with Exmouth swimming club at Budleigh Salterton throughout the summer months.
