FOLLOWING their shock midweek defeat against Buckland in the Chairman?s Cup, Lamerton bounced back to winning ways with a comprehensive win at Tintagel.

They took the lead when Paul Cowling latched on to a Dan Healy through ball and shortly afterwards doubled the advantage when Paul Breyley deceived the keeper with a cross from the right.

The third came when Breyley headed in a pinpoint left wing cross from Tony Jones after Tintagel had pulled a goal back. Cowling got his second to ensure a 4-1 half -time lead.

Lamerton continued to dominate and both strikers completed their hat-tricks with excellent goals from outside the box.

The final goal came after Cowling was fouled in the penalty area and Graham Cole converted the penalty to complete the scoring.

This Saturday Lamerton visit Lanivet for their last game of the season, kick-off 2.30pm.
