MEMBERS of Tavistock Young Farmers' Club invite people to become part of a 'live' audience for their dress rehearsal of 'Afternoon at the seaside' on Wednesday February 17, 7pm for 7.30pm in Tavistock College main hall.

The Agatha Christie 'whodunnit' is Tavistock YFC's entry to a national YFC drama competition. Each competing club has to produce a one act play.

In 2009 Tavistock YFC's hard work paid off when their pantomime 'Cinders' earned them first place in the South Dartmoor Group round, competing against seven other clubs. They came third out of six in the Devon County round. Two talented club members received 'best actor awards' in these rounds.

The South Dartmoor round is being held at Estover College, Plymouth on Saturday February 20. Tickets, at £5 per person and also for a charity performance on Sunday February 21 at the same college, are available from secretary Will Dodd, on 07792 310540.
