THE art funds of Chagford Primary School received a boost recently, thanks to the hard work of staff and pupils.

Art teacher Lisa Rowe and her pupils held an exhibition in St Michael's Church of art painted by the pupils depicting the Commonwealth.

Pieces of art were for sale at the event, and visitors could also make a donation to the school.
