IN the last few years it seems that Christmas jumpers have become all the rage — a trend embraced by school children living in?West?Devon who have worn their bright and colourful sweaters to raise money for charity.
Children at Lifton Primary?School held a Christmas jumper day to support the Save the Children fund on the last day of the winter term.
Meanwhile, the school council at Bridestowe Primary had the same idea, holding a Christmas jumper mufti on their final day which raised £35. A collection held after their school play raised £240.15; the money will be split between the Cumbrian Flood Disaster Fund and for new school play equipment.
