FORMER Tavistock College student and Plymouth Albion rugby supremo Graham Dawe took on a challenge of a different kind recently when he abseiled down Plymouth Civic Centre ? dressed as a dragon!

Graham was one of three ? including St George and a princess ? to make the hair-raising descent, held to publicise the St George?s Day Abseil Weekend in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.

The event is being held on April 24 and 25 and Macmillan is looking for as many heroic individuals and teams to enter as possible and raise much needed funds to help local people and their families who are affected by cancer.

Graham said: ?England?s historic world cup triumph is still fresh in people?s minds and under a new captain, everyone hopes for a repeat performance. However, people living with cancer face a great challenge of their own as they try to get on with life.

?By taking part in this event, you will help ensure Macmillan can be there to support more local people living with cancer.?
