THE Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue held a Companion Dog Show at Lewdown Victory Hall on Sunday, September 29. 

Thanks were expressed to everyone who supported the show, which raised £377, and to Laurie Busby, the judge and Kate, her steward, for supporting the charity.

Winners of the four pedigree classes: AV puppy (6-12 months), Fedella (Asenath Back-Chamness); AV sporting, Ernest (Sarah Bevan); AV non-sporting and reserve best in show, Troy (Jade Hatt); AV open and best in show, Douglas (Getta Chamness).

Novelty classes: Crossbreed, Jake (Terri Andrews); veteran and reserve best in show, Tegan (Elaine May); rescued/rehomed, Inka (James Davis); long coat and best in show, Johan (Sue Baker); short coat, Rosie (Maggie Moore); appealing eyes, Max (Terri Andrews); handsome male, Kiba (Lyn Stewart); prettiest female; Mizzi (Mary Robertson); best movement; Pippa (Lisa Trounson); dog judge would take home, Pippa (Lisa Trounson).
