RESIDENTS of Drewsteignton are all geared up for Teignton Fayre, which takes place in the village square on Saturday June 4th.

The annual event, which starts at 5pm helps to raise money for charity and local good causes, with this year’s nominated charity Hospiscare.

There are all sorts of traditional and new attractions designed for all ages, plenty of food on offer including a barbecue, puddings and cakes. Later in the evening, The Fireblockers will keep the crowd entertained.

‘Teignton Fayre is a lively event, fun for visitors and residents alike,’ explains Sam Peirce, a member of the Teignton Fayre committee. ‘It’s also a great opportunity to bring the community together. Events such as this help to keep the village alive.’
