ON Thursday Lamerton travelled to Callington for an important league game and were played off the park by a team much changed from previous encounters. The score remained level until five minutes before half time when Woolley forced in from close range. Within two minutes Peter Floyd made it two following a defensive mix up.

Callington pushed forward in the second half and man of the match Nick Tilbury scored with a volley to put the result beyond doubt.

The fourth came when Brown guided in a header from a free kick.

LAMERTON travelled to Dobwalls for their fourth game of the week with a squad missing key players and encountered a team of excellent youngsters. They were made to pay for two uncharacteristic defensive errors early on when Craig Walton and Lee Caers had tap ins and went three down before half time when Walton got his second from a good flowing move.

Playing with the wind in the second half Lamerton had several good chances from their best players Paul Cowling, Lee Hunter and Kev Fedrick but they were unable to reduce the deficit. In fact Dobwalls got a fourth near the end, a just reward as they played all the football in the match.

Lamerton still have at least nine more games to play this season and need the full squad available from now on in order to achieve results.
