STAFF at Cotehele are inviting people to visit the house over the Easter weekend for a Cadbury Easter trail. For four days over the Easter weekend, visitors will be able to follow a trail of clues in the garden to solve a puzzle and then claim a Cadbury chocolate egghead prize. Charmian Saunders, Cotehele's visitor services and volunteer manager, said: 'I always love watching families enjoying our gardens and orchards at this time of year. My favourite part is watching the little ones running around and chasing for clues.' While at the estate, visitors can also visit the 'Around the World' two-year-long exhibition and throughout April, the overseas travel theme is also reflected across the estate with a feast of Dutch braised beef in the Barn restaurant and Dutch tulips in bloom in the garden. The St Piran-inspired short story contest also continues at Cotehele Mill and the mill staff will be turned out in Victorian dress on Easter Sunday. The Cadbury Easter Trail will run from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday, April 21 from 11am to 4pm. Entry is £2 per child and normal admission charges apply. The house itself, which is usually closed on Fridays, will be open on Good Friday from 11am to 4pm and Cotehele's gardens and estate are open daily from dawn until dusk.
