THE Friends of Lamerton School (FOLS-PTA) organised and held an egg-cellent event in order to raise money for the school.

The FOLS team, with the help of some of the older pupils, served and cooked breakfasts to more than 100 people in Lamerton Village Hall recently.

A total of £974.80 was raised which will be used to purchase science equipment for the school.

The FOLS expressed thanks to all of the local businesses which helped make the event such a success.
