STUDENTS from Tavistock College took part in the Phoenix Project run by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service recently.
The project is aimed at students that are disengaged with education. The aim of the course is to take the students out of their comfort zone and build resilience, confidence and instil a sense of responsibility.
The students showcased all that they had learned on the course through a display and pass out parade last week at Tavistock Fire Station.
