A BRAND-new outdoor learning area has been built at Whitchurch Primary School thanks to a £10,000 National Lottery Awards for All grant.

A survey was completed by the school community and stakeholders to find out what equipment they would like for the playground — and an outdoor classroom proved to be the most popular item.

The school applied for the grant and was lucky enough to be awarded the substantial amount.

The outdoor classroom will be used during the day by the school, as well as the breakfast club and after-school club.
