THE popular farmers' carol service returns to Hatherleigh Market on Friday, December 12.

The service starts at 7.30pm and will be led by Hatherleigh Silver Band with special singing by members of Sticklepath Community Church. The guest speaker will be Mark Oliver.

He has been dairy farming near Bodmin for most of his life. He currently sits on the NFU's national dairy board and chairs the South West's regional dairy board.

Proceeds from the event will go to Farming Community Network and Faith Mission. Soup and rolls, mince pieces and tea will be available.
