GLORIOUS weather and live music made for a fantastic Okehampton Festival of Food and Music last Saturday.
The festival brought both locals and visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and browse stalls through the Red Lion Yard, St James Street and the courtyard at the Museum of Dartmoor Life.
Christine Marsh, one of the organisers, said: ‘I was thrilled to see so many people there and it was such a beautiful day – what more could you ask for?
‘The town was buzzing, there were lots of children there and the music was outstanding. This year we had a musician who was coordinating it for us and he got some new musicians along, so the atmosphere was great. It was a good day.’ Pictures shown are by Paul Hamlyn.
