CALSTOCK'S Alice Gray took part at the Pentathlon GB, South West region biathlon-triathlon championship held at Portland, Dorset.

Alice competed in the 9 and 10 year-olds group but despite still only being nine she came first in the 50m swim, and also first in the 500m run and now qualifies for the national GB-biathlon to be held in May. Alice attends Calstock School and trains at East Cornwall Harriers and swims at Plymouth Leander and Launceston swim clubs.
