RESIDENTS from Milton Combe, Tavistock and Yelverton gathered at Yelverton Golf Club to mark the retirement of much loved postman Malcolm Kelly.

Malcolm, who was accompanied to the surprise party by his wife Sue, joined the Post Office in April 1976, based in Tavistock and then at Leg O’ Mutton, Yelverton, returning to Tavistock in the early 1990s.

He retired in October 2016 after 40 years of service, covering most of the routes in Tavistock and Yelverton, and for the last 34 years covered Yelverton and Milton Combe.

Malcolm’s wife Sue said it was a ‘fantastic get together for many of the residents and friends’.
