CALSTOCK Footpath Society has organised an unusual gentle four mile walk on quiet roads and forest paths which, by arranging a return car shuttle, is primarily downhill, this Sunday.

Starting at Gunnislake Station, the route takes walkers to Latchley, the lowest fordable point on the Tamar, then by ancient tracks to the village of Luckett.

Interested walkers should meet at Gunnislake Station at 10.30am and bring refreshments. Stout footwear and suitable clothing is recommended due to wet forest tracks. Not suitable for dogs.

A £2 donation is requested from non-members of Calstock Footpath Society. For more information contact 01822 833810.
