FARMING was to the fore at Sampford Courtenay last weekend when people from the village and Honeychurch attended the Plough Sunday service at St?Andrew's Church.

A restored, horse-drawn plough, a sack of wheat and a sample of soil were blessed by the Rev Nick Weldon, who is pictured with his son,?Sam, 3, the Rev Rita Bullworthy and members of the church and community.
