Both U9 rounders teams at Mount House finished the season on a high note, with three victories and one draw from the last four games. In the A team match against St Peter's, Mount House batted well, with one whole rounder by Lucy Massey, to make it 6½-5½ against St Peters. In the second innings Mount House batted well - with two rounders scored by Oenone Rodgers and Lucy McCormick. But St Peters came back to draw at 14-14. In the B match, the Mount House girls beat St Peter's 12½-10½ win. Against Stover, the A team fielded first and after the first innings, Mount House led 5-3. In the second innings Stover produced some massive hits, but great catching and team work in the field and four rounders by Mount clinched a 9-6 win. The Mount House B against Stover elected to field first. With a fantastic catch from Philippa May- Sommerville, great bowling from Jess Huntington and excellent teamwork from Alice and Ella Woolcock at the end of the first innings they were ahead 15-6½ before going onto a final 20½-10 victory, and the completion of an unbeaten season for the U9 Bs.
