PUPILS at Gulworthy Primary School have taken up fencing, thanks to the Active Villages Project which is funding the sessions at Gulworthy Parish Hall on Wednesday afternoons
The school has also received tag rugby training from Plymouth Albion RFC players who have been at Gulworthy, Princetown, Lamerton and Whitchurch schools delivering free sessions through the Active Villages project.
OCRA who are delivering Active Villages in partnership with West Devon Borough Council are keen to hear from anybody in the target communities of Gulworthy, Chagford, North Tawton, Meavy, Whitchurch, Lamerton, Hatherleigh, Lifton, Dartmoor Forest and Okehampton Hamlets who is interested in developing sport, activity or dance in your community. This can be for children, young people or adults and Active Villages can support taster sessions, people training, events, equipment , promotion and much more.
