Gunnislake Newbridge will be closed between Monday, September 2 and Friday, September 6 for repairs.

The work to the historic bridge over the river Tamar includes permanent repairs to damaged cutwaters - the face of the bridge supports - and fitting steel nosings to protect the cutwaters from future damage.

The closure is set to cause disruption for people travelling between Tavistock and Cornwall.
