MORE than 150 members and former members of Tavistock Swimming Club gathered at Meadowlands Swimming Pool to celebrate the club's 20th anniversary.

Words of welcome were given to guests by President of Tavistock Swimming Club, Kevin Freedman.

Mr Freedman presented founder member John Reid with an engraved whiskey glass and presented a cut-glass photo frame to former chair and former president of the club, Sue Dunstan as both have been constant characters over the 20 years.

Guests enjoyed a buffet and Wet and Wild session for the youngsters.
