Taw Valley Creamery was the show's most successful creamery winning an exceptional seven awards. The creamery's Mature Cheddar won three awards including gold in the Mature Cheddar class, gold for the first round of the Danisco Grand Prix and reserve best in show. Gold awards were also won by Taw Valley's Double Gloucester and Red Leicester Cheeses, its Mild Cheddar won silver and bronze and its Churton branded cheese was awarded a bronze award. Neil Kennedy, chief executive of Milk Link, said: 'We are delighted to have had another successful year at the Devon County Show, one of the most highly regarded agricultural shows. 'This is the most important local show for our Taw Valley Creamery and so we are particularly pleased that the quality of its cheeses received such high recognition.
