OKEHAMPTON Medical Centre is to hold a series of flu vaccination clinics over the coming weeks.

Patients over the age of 65 and children aged two and three are all eligible for a free flu vaccination on the NHS. The medical centre also advises flu vaccinations for patients under 65 who have chronic illness such as heart failure, diabetes, respiratory problems or are immuno-suppressed.

The flu clinics will be held at the medical centre from 8.30am to noon on Saturday, September 30, October 7, October 14 and October 21.

The centre is also holding a series of drop-in village hall flu clinics which require no appointment. The clinics will take place between 2pm and 4pm on October 3 in Sourton, October 10 in Belstone, October 12 in Castle Ham Lodge, October 17 in Exbourne and October 24 in South Zeal.
