CHILDREN in Okehampton will have another chance to take part in Exeter City FC's popular soccer roadshow during the June half-term week.
The one-day course gives boys and girls aged 5 to 14 a chance to improve their football skills, keep fit and have fun in a safe and structured environment.
The roadshow will be in Okehampton on Friday June 8 at Simmons Park. Youngsters in Chagford will also be able to take part in a one-day course at Chagford Primary School on Wednesday June 6.
The courses run from 10am to 3pm and cost £15 each.
Players of all abilities are welcome to attend, with no previous football experience necessary.
Exeter City FC's FA qualified coaches will be on hand to offer expert advice to help improve existing skills as well as teaching some new tips and tricks.
Exeter City FC's soccer roadshows are organised by the club's Football in the Community Trust, and have been taking place across Devon and Somerset for more than ten years, keeping young Exeter City FC supporters entertained during the school holidays.
Jamie Vittles, community trust manager for Exeter City's Football in the Community Trust said: 'Our soccer roadshows keep getting bigger and better. In the Easter holidays we have more than 500 children taking part, and I have to say I was very impressed with the attitude and behaviour of all the budding football enthusiasts.
'For any children who want to have fun, keep fit and make some new friends during the holidays I would definitely recommend signing up for the roadshow.'
