THE Devon and Exmoor Sheepdog Society held trials at Princetown on Sunday.

Held at Long Plantation, Two Bridges, the judge was Victor Pitts from Exminster.

In the open driving, 34 ran and first was Alan Bennett from Hewaswater with Jack on 77 points and second was Jim Nicholls of Buckland Brewer with Joe on 70. Third was Jed Watson, Postbridge, with Mirk on 66 and he was also fourth with Jake, 66.

In the novice driving, 21 ran. First was Jed Watson, Postbridge, Cap 57; 2, Jed Watson, Postbridge, Sweep 56; 3, Tracey Peat, Swimbridge, Jess 56.
