THE village of Sticklepath was in the presence of great talent last week, when it welcomed actress Jennifer Saunders, who was among an array of celebrities filming the third series of Jam and Jerusalem in the Okehampton area.

Filming began at the beginning of the week on Belstone Moor, where the actors and actresses braved the bad weather.

Their main location on set was filmed in North Tawton, where the fictional village in the series, Clatterford, was based.

The series is set in the Women's Guild of Clatterford St Mary and stars some of the best loved women in comedy, including Dawn French, Joanna Lumley and Sue Johnston, who is pictured here with Jennifer during a break in filming.

The series is set to be aired on the BBC in August.
