Tavistock Girls 4
Staddiscombe 0
TAVISTOCK'S Heidi Davies was fast down the left wing and with back-up from Tamsin Bryant, the ball was constantly in Staddiscombe's half. Kim Davey played wide on the right with Chloe Bassett playing through the middle. After a series of superb passes Davey was felled on the edge of the box and took the free kick which struck the back of the net but was disallowed for being indirect.
A fine ball from Davies resulted in Davey's first goal. A few minutes later Davey broke through again and slotted home.
Staddiscombe fought back but again Joy Page timed her tackles to perfection. Bryant and Page both pushed up leaving Sarah Barrett as the rock in defence. Shortly before half-time Davies set up Clarice Payne for her shot to go just wide. Tavistock battled on and Davey rounded two defenders to slot in for her hat-trick.
The second half saw the introduction of Amy Campbell and Paige McGetchie. Staddiscombe broke through after constant battling but Robynne Honey kept her goal safe.
Staddiscombe brought their keeper out of goal but nothing could stop Davey bursting through and getting her fourth.
Player of the match: Joy Page.

Callington 0
Tavistock Girls 1
TAVISTOCK travelled to Callington with a straight seven due to injury. Tavistock saw the return of Laura Philip after a long absence.
A tactical change of position for Stephanie Morgan saw a number of good accurate shots at goal. At the other end Louise Galway saved well to keep a clean sheet.
After 20 minutes of end-to-end play Morgan broke through the defence, rounded the keeper and shot in from a seemingly impossible angle.
Tavistock started the second half determined to hang on to their lead and with Cole tremendous with great runs up the wing they did so. The defence and keeper did well to keep Callington out for their second consecutive win.
Player of the match: Holly Krotke.
