Students and staff from Duchy College Stoke Climsland joined forces with Stoke Climsland Parish Councillors to plant trees in celebration and commemoration of the Queen's jubilee.
The ceremony took place on what is known locally as 'Millennium Avenue' which had lines of trees planted in the year 2000 and opened by the Prince of Wales. The new copper beech trees join the end of the row on Millennium Avenue and were planted in a ceremony hosted by the college.
The two youngest members of Stoke Climsland Primary School, Theo and Annabelle, were invited to help plant the trees, alongside the oldest resident of the parish, Vere Fisher.
