SOME 28 decorated tractors set off from Addledore Caravan Park at Sampford Courtenay on Sunday for the annual Christmas Road Run.
The event was organised this year by the new Okehampton Ploughing and Vintage Machinery Club and a great time was had by all!
The tractors travelled around 18 miles taking in Honeychurch, North Tawton, South Tawton, South Zeal. Sticklepath and ending up at The Tors at Belstone for a very civilised Sunday lunch!
Chairman of the club Mike Reynolds said the tractors travelled along country lanes and some of the bigger roads so drivers and walkers could see the spectacle.
'People were stopping and cheering on us — there was a great atmosphere,' he said.
Proceeds from the raffle on the day will go to charity.
