POLICE are appealing for motorists not to leave valuables on display, after a break in to a people carrier on Dartmoor.
Between 2.30pm and 6.20pm on Friday in the Poundsgate area, the driver's door-lock of a black Mazda Bongo was forced.
Stolen from the vehicle were a wallet, £165 in cash, two Sony mobile phones, bank cards and a Microsoft Zune MP3 player worth £300.
Police are advising people not to leave any valuables on display in parked vehicles — even in isolated spots such as Dartmoor.
