OKEHAMPTON and District Ladies' Circle will be hosting their annual Christmas Wishes event tomorrow (Friday).
At the event at Country Lanes Garden Centre, visitors will be able to listen to festive music performed by South Tawton Primary School and Exbourne choir, enjoy a few mince pies, and seasonal nibbles, and perhaps have a glass of mulled cider.
There are several hampers to be won in the raffle, and guests are invited to take a moment to write their wish and hang it on the tree.
Supported by the gentlemen at Okehampton Round Table, there will also be a chance to see Santa himself, who will be in charge of switching on the lights on the wishes tree.
The event starts at 6pm. The wishes event is one of the key fundraising events for the Ladies' Circle group, who meet in Okehampton on a monthly basis for fun, fundraising and friendship.
All funds raised during the year are donated to local groups and charities.
More information on this group can be found on Facebook on the Okehampton & District Ladies' Circle page.
