A TRUST fund in Callington is offering grants to children to enhance their musical aspirations.

Under the terms of the will of the late Joan Gee, of Callington, The Joan Gee Music Trust was set up to assist the fostering and development of music among children of primary school age in the town.

Applications are welcomed from any parent, carer or organisation who believes a grant from the trust would help further a child's musical abilities.

Forms are available from Callington Primary School or from the administrator of the fund Andrew Farr at 19 Lansdowne Road, Callington, PL17 7HB. The closing date is March 31.

Further donations to the trust fund are welcomed as this would enable the trustees to increase the amount paid out in grants. If anyone wishes to make a donation can they please send a cheque made payable to 'The Joan Gee Music Trust' to Mr Farr at the above address.
