OKEHAMPTON rock band Fosta are being showcased online after their demo was chosen in a BBC Radio Devon initiative promoting unsigned bands.

Fosta, who won the Battle of the Bands contests at Exeter and Okehampton, have now been put on the music section of the Radio Devon website.

?Devon Demos? gives visitors to the site a chance to download the music of up-and-coming bands, with Fosta supplying the track Secret.

Fosta cite Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Muse and Radiohead as their influences.

The band formed at Okehampton College last year. The name originates from a Fosters fuelled debate.
