CRAZY hairstyles could be seen sported by pupils of federated schools Lady Modiford’s Primary School in Walkhampton and Meavy Primary School as part of Mad March Hair Day recently.
The children were invited to go to school with crazy hair — gelled, hair sprayed in any colour, dozens of ponytails etc — the madder the better!
The children brought in donations of £1 each for the House of Blessings — a house run by charity Romania Aid — which Meavy School has supported for many years.
It is a home for adults who have learning difficulties who have lived there as a family since being moved from an orphanage.
